Marketing management is a wide and varied practice, and yet we felt that the following points are critical to any instance.

Identification of the need for your product or service within your target audience. Having a method of meeting the needs of the consumer Promoting and selling the product or service in such a way as to demonstrate the benefits/address the needs identified Being able to manage the exchange or purchasing process Monitor the system to understand what the changes in the context (such as consumer purchasing behaviours) does to negate the benefits of the needs identified

These are simple considerations and may seem obvious, but it is worth asking whether your existing marketing campaigns are able to accommodate each instance.
