Ad of the Week: Billboards

Written by on

Today's 'Ad of the Week' looks at how billboards can be used, with dramatic effect, to convey their messages.

There are some great examples of billboards which use light, location and other objects - often separate from the billboards themselves - to create real eye-catching ads!

I know which one is my favourite, so let's see which is the most popular! Feel free to post your thoughts below, and remember to forward the 'Ad of the Week' onto your mates!

Have a great weekend.

These are REALLY clever - I like the Mini one and the Kill Bill one, but favourite has to be the PSP one - that would make me look twice definitely!!

The electricity billboard and the mini are the best with the psp a very close second. All great though, love seeing these every Friday.

Thanks for all the comments so far, they're pretty cool billboards don't you think? I think they're all clever in their own ways, but my favourite is probably the vacuum cleaner advert!

There's still plenty of time to post your favourite - it would be great if you could take a couple of minutes out of your lunch break to let us know what you think!

I think the vac one is the best too. The footballer is over the top (and not just over the road!), it's too distracting for the drivers (my sensible head on here).

I really don't like the Kill Bill ad, then again I'm not a fan of those blood thirsty films....

The Eskom billboard is simple and effect, but seeing the Mini ad board in situ would make you smile.

I'm with S_V on the Kill Bill ad.

all very clever and amazing how they've done it. Had to look twice at Miele billboard, like Kill Bill - never saw the film, too much blood for me, but my favourite is the Footballer over the road. I wonder how much that cost to produce!
